Plug-ins/converters are available for reading puzzles in USA Today(TM) formats and solving all of them in Across Lite.
Because of the conflict in file name extension between the Across Lite puzzles and USA Today (TM) puzzles, we are making it easy to use just Across Lite for all the formats.

Problem Resolution Methods
For problems with the use of the software, try the following:
- Look through the on-line help in the program. Windows and OS/2 users get online help through the help menu in the Across Lite program. Mac users should open the file OnlineHelp.htm in the Across Lite folder from their browser and Unix users should read the README files to call for help from within Across Lite. We have tried hard to make these files as helpful as possible. Please do use it.
- Check out our Across Lite FAQ available online here. This is a much larger set than the one maintained at the NYT web site. The FAQs will be continually updated.
- There is a step-by-step online tutorial (available soon) to get you started on using Across Lite if crosswords on computers is a new experience to you.
- The NYT forums on crosswords often has useful information. We will continually monitor the forum and post replies as necessary.

Feedback for improving the software and bug reports (if any) can be filed online, and anonymously if you wish. All such reports will be sincerely appreciated.
